Atlas was the son of the Titans, Saturn and Ops. He personified the quality of endurance and led the other giant Titans in their war against gods to gain control of the world.

The technique itself – brought to a high degree of mastery – is annulled; it has grown with the artist’s breath and aspirations, as if disappearing into the background out of which it emerges in layers woven like the finest of veils.
